We have officially kicked off fall here in this house!
Yes indeed! First the calendar officially welcomed us to the first full day of fall but more than that we attended the Common Ground Fair. Our fall kickoff ritual. We invited some amazing friends with us who had never been. It is always that much better sharing something you love with people you love and getting to watch them experience it too for the first time.
Another awesome thing about the Common Ground fair is they open the gates the first day until noon free of charge for Schools….this includes homeschooling families and groups! Gotta love a function that does this. Especially one where the kids learn and never realize they are learning.
I LOVE blueberries, especially Maine blueberries and each year my first stop is the farm stand to grab a cup to snack on.
They have this great area on Fridays for the kids to use recycled good to create something. My boy loves making hats, though think he might be on the verge of growing out of that because he just did not get into it like he has in the past. Or may have been he had a friend with him this year and they were eager to see and do other things.
A bloomin’ Onion…a beautiful thing!
It rained…it POURED…we got absolutely drenched! But that did not spoil our fun!
